Books are awesome!!! And we would like to share with you some books that are awesome! Anyway: # 1:

J. K. Rowling's HARRY POTTER !!!!

(The whole series.) I LOVE THESE BOOKS!!!! For those of you who have just seen the movies, READ THE BOOKS. They give much better explanation, more realistic experiences, and are much less crammed. I find in the movies, they do a very poor job of explaining and are very crammed because they can't make a 5 hour long movie. And for those of you who don't like Harry Potter, I encourage you to just give it a try. The 1st book is very captivating.

# 2:

Madeleine L'engle's A Wrinkle In Time !

There are other books in this series, better known as the Time Quintet, though I find the 1st one is much better than the continued ones. This challenges your mind, as there is linguistic and mathematics in this book that are fun to wrap your head around. This book is a little bit older, the 'type-writer' age, but is still a new and exciting read. It has the classic: good vs evil theme, and has a bit of science fiction. You can really identify with the internal battle, a battle we all face, which is given a physical form in this book.

# 3 :

Jeanne Birdsall's The Penderwicks !

I like this one for piticular reasons. BIG # 1: The character development. Birdsall has given each of the Penderwick sister's a different personality that is crucial to the book. Rosalind: Responsible, caring. Skye: Brave, smart. Jane: Creative, imaginative. Batty (formally known as Elizabeth) : Sweet, careless. They give different perspectives, and make this book exciting. When you hear dialogue, you usually know already, who it is. You can also relate to the sparks and spurs that happen in the relationships between the characters. It's totally realistic.

#4:

The Hunger Games Trilogy !

I love these books because its about something that could happen in the future. This an example of a Dystopian world meaning that's it's far from perfect. In my opinion everybody's thinking the future is going to be perfect but the cold harsh reality is that the world could fall apart. This book is giving us a great example of how things could happen and we have to make sure that something this cruel could never happen. I also like this book because it's also showing how love prevails over everything, for example Katniss volenteered as tribute for her sister in The Hunger Games something unheard of in district 12. And then in another novel in the trilogy Peeta proves his love for Katniss by warning her that the Capitol was going to bomb them, even though he could get killed for that.
